Teaching Arabic Letter Forms

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

These sheets are what I have used to teach my kids the letter forms in Arabic. They get to choose any material to color in/fill in the Alphabet being worked on, as long as they only fill in the Alphabet which the page belongs to.

They can choose from sketch pens, highlighter pens, pulses, rice, playdough, anything at all. All my kids have been excited to do these sheets Alhamdulillah!

I use the Arabic Alphabet Letter form strips alongside this sheet.

You may download the PDF for the Arabic Letter Form sheets here.

And the PDF for the Arabic Letter Form STRIPS here.

Hope you find it beneficial.

Arabic Alphabet Flashcards

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

These are the first flashcards we made to teach the Arabic Alphabet. It was sort of hard work to cut out everything, then place it properly on the lamination sheets, and then laminate. After laminating, I found I had missed a Nuqta for a couple of alphabets so I had to go back and do it again. But Alhamdulillah, after it was done, these were such a useful resource for us. The printable is available here, inshaaAllaah.

Proceeding to vowels, these flashcards, we are using at the moment, apart from other ways. The printable is available here, inshaaAllaah.

والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Surat An-Naas Puzzle

Assalam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

This is a Surat An-Naas puzzle. Each verse has a different color on it to make it easier for younger kids who don't know how to read very well. It helped my son to engage with the words, try and figure out what the words were with the knowledge that he does have.

I tied a long string across the room and he hung the words using clothespins using the sheet with the entire Surah on it as a guide.

He knows the Surah by heart already, so this was an activity to develop his reading skills.

Hope your child will also benefit from this.
